Landy Ally
I changed panhard bush recently, but when I tried to refit the bar it is really hard to get it to line up with the hole. I tried to hit it with big hammer but wouldn’t go, so I used a jack to push it up but it not lining up with the hole. I put the other end of the bar in position and tightened it up 1st. I haven’t moved the steering, so I can’t understand why it’s not close to the hole. It has to be half an inch out to the right as you look at it from the front. Any ideas greatly appreciated. western
You need to twist the steering to get the bolts & holes to align, even though the vehicle/steering hasn't moved, the axle has because it's location bar is disconnected, I had the same problem when I changed my panhard rod bushes a few months ago.
