russ3120
What is the easiest way to fit a tyre back on a rim manually?
nige90
Two or ideally three tyre levers and lots of lube. Get one side keep the bead in the valley of the wheel and lever very small amounts. The third lever helps hold the non working side still. Just be careful not to pinch the ruber or bend kink the beading wires. Not too hard really. clbarclay
A couple of tyre leavers is the basic requirement. Lube is a good, you can use washing up liquid, but proper tyre soap is far superior. Having got some proper tyre soap a few years ago, the differance between it and fairly liquid makes you wounder why you didn't get some sooner.
