mitchthekiter Posted July 17, 2008 Share Posted July 17, 2008 Hi could anybody tell me what would need changing to go from a 110td chassis to a 110td5 chassis, I will be fitting new bulkhead and seat box anyway and it already has disco 200tdi engine. Guest diesel_jim Posted July 18, 2008 Share Posted July 18, 2008 Early and late Td5 chassis has the rear body mounting tags either "visible" (outside the bodywork) or "hidden" (inside the body) so they're slightly different shape. and the rear crossmembers are different. slightly thinner on a Td5 (to accomodate the different fuel tank) but i know that a metal Tdi 110 tank WILL fit into a Td5 chassis, as i fitted one into my Td5 chassis a while back, bolted right up.
