kindwarf
I've had a Disco 95 300 tdi auto for 3 weeks now, what I have noticed is that the throttle pedal seems quite heavy compared with my old car Trooper 3.2 petrol, is this normal.
sotal
Never driven a trooper so can't comment on the comparison but my 95 Auto Disco didn't seem at all heavy on the throttle pedal, as light as any modern car I've driven. Is yours the fly-by-wire model?

First_Fleet
Maybe the cable/ throttle body mechanism needs lubricating? The previous model Discovery also had a very strong clutch pedal which I understand was improved for the '95.
sotal
no it do'snt have a potensiometer its a cable, I dont think it has a EDC or what ever you call it. Is it an early 95? Does it have the two cables running from the pedal area? One for kickdown and one for throttle? If you look at the big air pipe from the airbox, if it's just a length of pipe then it is non-EDC, if it has a box in the pipe with the MAF sensor then it is EDC. Does it have cruise control?
