plasticy hood header rail.

Hi all,

Moved into here from the military side to see if any of you could help.

I own an ex mod110 and I am in need of a header rail for my 'wolf' hood.

This particular header rail has to be able to take a flat strip at the front of the hood, as apposed to the round strip in a canvas hood.

I would appreciate any advice.

Also do you think i could replace the flat strip in the wolf hood for a peice of seisel rope or similar in order to give it a round front, or is that just me being stupid. I have the header rail for the canvas hood, but i dont really have acces to my 110 just now.

you might be able to insert some cord to create a rounded edge - depends on how the flat strip is inserted in the wolf hood and if you can fish it out neatly and swap if for rope.

But knowing Exmoor it will be mega bucks.

Anyone know of after market, or second hand ones doing the rounds?.

The reference above was to allwheeltrim not exmoor trim.

If you look at the suggested site you will see flat and round front track fittings, perhaps you can adapt one for your wolf canvas.

Small brain fart there, thats all. Have seen AWTs site just never seen that bit before. seems very similar to a mob called Exmoor trim that i was advised about before, and just ( mistakingly ) presumed it was the same.
