RichardAllen
Does anyone know where I can get the correct electrical connector for fuel tank sender unit, part number WQB100430 ? This is the combined fuel pickup/return plus fuel gauge sender unit for a 300TDi which has a TD5 style plastic fuel tank behind the rear axle. The connector is for the fuel gauge sender connections Moulded into the top of the sender unit is a female housing for a 4 way male connector as show here: The 4 male terminals are 2.8 mm. Only two of the terminals are used. I could cable up 2.8mm terminals, solder them in and bung it all up with sealant, but would rather use the right connector if I can get one. My reading of my EPC (at which I am pretty inexpert) suggested Part No AMR3041, but I got one from Dinsfoild and it does not fit. I am quite happy to use either a LR part which I assume would come with a harness, or connector only from somewhere like RS. All help gratefully received. BogMonster
I suspect you'll find the plug is only available from LR as part of the whole harness, often the case.

I don't suppose there is any easy way to find out who LR get/got their connectors from ?
stuntman
Richard there are a few suppliers, harting may be able to help, or even RS components
Guest diesel_jim
That looks like some of the connectors i got off of some scrap rover cars the other week (i was trying to find some to match my Td5 rear door harness and the Td5 dash buttons). I got some 4 pin plugs in a load of stuff. fling me your address, you can have the 4 pin ones i got, they might fit.
