cougard
Hi all, I'm in the process of refurbishing a Warn M8000 that was dead. I finally got round to taking the motor off today, popped the end cap odd and this is what has happened... Now I'm sure that should all be in one piece! The back brush has shattered and the wires have come away from both the brush and the bolt/terminal. This is the first time that I have played with winches so I'm a bit stuck here. I have tried to solder the wires back on but it just won't take. Is there anywhere that I can buy some new brushes? Is there a different way to fix it? Any help is very welcome Matt. western
I wouldn't bother trying to revive that brush, a new set would be much easier to fit & last longer too.
