disco_al
anyone know where the fuel cut off switch is on a D3 with the TDV6 engine? (It's a 56 plate if it helps, no handbook present either )

BogMonster
There isn't a separate one however the restraints control module outputs a "crash signal" to the engine ECM when you bend it around something, which disables the fuel pump and the fuel burning heater if fitted, as well as opening the doors, giving you a faceful of canvas etc etc. Supposed to be reset by cycling the ignition according to the book. Not sure if a dodgy restraint crash sensor would cause a problem or not, but if it is anything like most problems on a D3 there would probably be bongs and lights and you would have to replace half the vehicle to fix it
disco_al
cheers guys - one of our garage customers has got one with a fuel cut off problem, and is trying to trace it back.
cipx2
The crash signal is sent by the SRS only after (or same time) it inflates an airbag. Less likely the owner didn't notice something poping in his face Not to mention it would appear on Testbook first thing. IMO the SRS control module is the most reliable thing on the vehicle (if not the only).
