Hi guys,

Any idea where I can purchase an "Ashcroft like" CDL linkage?

I am looking for the one of '04 cable based, rather the D-1 hard linkage.

Ashcroft are out of stock for some time, checked on David, he said ETA is unknown.

I think the problem is that Land Rover stopped making the parts and the Ashcroft kit was based on genuine parts. I read on here somewhere recently that they are working on an alternative, apart from that I suspect your only option is one off a crashed vehicle, but given most Discoverys in most parts of the world rarely see more than a gravel car park I suspect 99% of the vehicles built for 03/04 model year don't have the CDL fitted.

I heared that the Disco 300tdi linkage and bits will fit, but I haven't had the chance to look at either my vehicle or the bits from a 300tdi yet. I'd be interested to know more about it. If not I'm going down the socket set route.
