oggie27_3 Posted December 3, 2008 Share Posted December 3, 2008 just ordered a nanocom from devon 4x4 taking full advantage of the new vat rates! although the wife complained as its close to xmas, but a quick explanation about garage costs for diagnostics soon calmed her down. has anyone had any trouble running it with vista as i have a new laptop which runs it! now just need to convince her that the egr removal is money well spent! Richard Mills Posted December 4, 2008 Share Posted December 4, 2008 Hi There, Removal of EGR is always a good idea. Mine was not really faulty, but the truck is much better without it. Nanocom should save money , I would buy one if I was sure it would clear the SRS lights, I would consider it worth it just for that! A person I know has paid £35 each month for the last year trying to get the local garage to fix his TD5 problems. I am sure with a Nanocom I could sort it in a couple of days.
