Starter motor 300Tdi

Recommended Posts

Am I right in thinking that to get at the starter motor cables I need to remove the intake hose from the turbo to make access easier.

Anything else in the way??

Just undo jubilee clip where hose attaches to turbo inlet, pipe is flexible enough to wedge out of the way. Nothing else really in the way but might be an idea to remove bonnet stay and prop bonnet vertical with a long length of timber so that you get your "head in" and see whats going on - timber will stop the bonnet falling back on ur head
