Megansfolly Posted December 18, 2008 Share Posted December 18, 2008 umm dunno how to best expalin this but i bought apas pump off disco al (cheers by the way turned up today) the pump has a bango connection the high pressure side where as the pipes coming from box has a nipple on it, can i get an adopter for the pump to allow it to to take the nipple connection or do i need a new high pressure pipe thanks in advance Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
disco_al Posted December 18, 2008 Share Posted December 18, 2008 we had to use a new pas pipe on the conversion we did, IIRC it was about £35 from bearmach. the disco 200tdi pipe is the one you need - ntc 5494 it is a bit shorter than the defender one, but only just, ours went in ok, but wouldn't clip back into the clamps on the fron x-member. no probs on the pump BTW - they only collected it yesterday afternoon ! IIRC you can make one pipe out of two if you have the old disco pipe, take it to a hydraulics place, and they can joint them together.
