rrc shocker question

hi all my 93 rrc has been converted to coils from air sus but i want new shocks on it

is there any difference between air and coils shocks as my front shocks are still located in the air sus position and not in the middle of the spring as per normal ???

also ins not possable to put normal shock towers on to put them through the front springs as my lpg system is in the bloody way :(

I can't see any issue with using the existing damper mountings and fitting a good brand like DeCarbon or OME. Just make sure you get the correct type when you order them, ie. EAS type. The EAS spec dampers will cope fine with the coils - the range of movement on coil and EAS vehicles is about the same, but coi spec dampers may not fit the mountings or may be of a different length.
