integerspin
I get gasket material from gasket makers and they can usually supply something sutable. Mostly they are OK with you taking scraps, I got a box of scraps big enough to make chrysler rocker covers once, in fact I got sump gaskets out of it so there idea of scrap isn't mine;-) The stuff I nearly always take is a klingersil material thats green one side and black the other, it's graphite and neoprene, seals most anything and I seem to remember the bloke saying it was for steam joints? I did get prices and normal gasket paper was something silly like 46p a metre but the klingersil stuff was £70 a metre! I priced it up to make the gaskets for the montego conversions and RS wanted about twice what a gasket material supplier near Woking[?] wanted. AD90
Guys, It's not just good for jackets, it's great for sealing too. It is very compliant and resistant to thermal cycling, although not quite up to EGT levels http://www.gore.com/en_xx/products/sealant...ts/gaskets.html AD90
