western Posted January 19, 2009 Share Posted January 19, 2009 there isn't a clutch servo fitted on any Defender unless a previous owner has fitted one. if the pedal is too heavy to operate, try lubricating the shaft ends at the assembly under the bonnet or fit a late 300Tdi/Td5 clutch pedal assembly with the different return/assist spring. Back in the late 90's Buyras Bridge land rovers down in devon/cornwall advertised a clutch lightening kit/device, supposed to reduce pedal effort by 70%, could contact them, they were still there 2 years ago. this ad was from oct '98 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
