john01473
1, i have noticed that when parked on a road with a camber there appears to be fluid stains on the road under the back axle / diff. its hard to tell what the fluid is - does not look or smell like diesal. looking underneath i can tsee anything. when parked on the level of my drive - not a drip. i do not have wading plugs in - any ideas? 2, i noticed tonight that there is some dribble marks on the outside of the front off side wheel - could this be brake fluid leak ? what do i check? cheers Big John
teabag
1. Diff pinion oil seal is faulty, when u park on level ground the diff oil level is below the seal so no drips. 2. More like a faulty hub oil seal, that would deposit oil on the wheel & tyre.

teabag
1. If it's fuel it could be coming from theround fuel sender gasket on the top of the tank. That's discounting any holes in the tank. 2. Looking in my disco parts book it's FTC4785 outer two required and FRC8222 inner two required. Sorry can't help with the job I haven't had to do it.... yet.
