sparg
Haven't had chance to have a look, yet, but slight but pervasive smell of diesel on this morning's 50 mile run. Is there likely to be a 'usual fault' I should look for? cheers sparg

disco_al
check the pressure reg housing at the back of the head, other than that, is it using excessive fuel?
Les Henson
Fuel pressure regulator is a common problem. Fuel will drip down the drivers side of the engine and onto the ground - just forward of the footwell. Fixing it - http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=25537 Les. sparg
thanks for those ideas - damn! none of 'em easy or cheap! ah well. ON the question of fuel usage, I have to run a test - I had wondered, actually, over this last week whether I was using slighyl more - it's normally quite reliable at about 28.? mpg, so I'll see cheers
