4.6 RRC Exhaust Options

Hi all,

Hoping somebody on here can save me a lot of time and weeing about.

Before I drop the 4.6 in and then worry about exhausts can anybody give me a few pointers please?

Can I use the standard exhaust from a 3.5 EFI or will this be too restrictive?

If not can I use an aftermarket P38 system (not sure if it will foul on anything)

And if I can't use any of the above what can I use?

Sorry for all the questions but I'd rather get what I need in advance.

P38 manifolds are much different and may not fit (also last time I looked on eBlag they were £££ for some reason :unsure: ), I'm running tubular headers (probably only designed for a 3.5 or 3.9 though), the stock 3.9 cast manifolds are reckoned to be about the best and not difficult to get hold of. Unfortunately a cast manifold just fouls my engine mount :rolleyes: so I had to stick with the headers.

Bling != better performance, at the end of the day it's some tubes for the gas to go down so no reason some holes in a casting need be any worse than some holes down some toobs :P

I believe Nige's super-bling JE manifolds start life as stock 3.9 items.
