the hooded claw Posted April 23, 2009 Share Posted April 23, 2009 As some of you will know I have a V8 with LPG conversion & the idiot that fitted the LPG plonked the Emulator right in front of my Air Box which means:- A i can't get at me Cruise control vac pump and B the engine is suckin shed loads of hot air from the engine bay (Coz the idiot took off the air intake pipe) So........ I have a cunning plan!!!!!!!!! i have JUST enough room to get a 2 inch flexi hose out thru the left wing BUT........ WTF do I put on the outside of the wing??????? I cannot find a 2 inch or bigger "Chrome Thingy" to put over the air intake!!!! i've even considered ( but only very very briefly) a plastic chrome overflow thingy from a sink!!!!!!! I don't off road so suckin up water & ****e is not an issue but I gotta get some cold air into that air box some how!!!!! Any suggestions guys???????????? disco tony Posted April 24, 2009 Share Posted April 24, 2009 about half way down the page.. southdown you will find though this is designed for 63mm pipe, you may have to adapt it somehow. He will also supply a cutting template for this moulding. If it were me, I'd go the bit extra and add the stainless tube too, might look a bit stoopid with just a wing moulding.
