I thaught i had problems with my Vcu but noticed it was the damper that was damaged not the Vcu. I have done the tipex test on the vcu and it appears to be working but the damper is damaged and i have done a temp repair with tape to hold it together. I need to change my vcu bearings and thaught i would do the damper at same time! Iam not even sure what it does or how it comes off. Iam not sure, and i may be wrong but does it reduce vibration?
