Dave M
Just bought a Series IIIa , and when taking the drums off to examine brakes imagine our suprise to see them contaminated with gear oil. Stripped everything back to the axle end and no sign of any seals in the end of the axle surely there should be. Both sides the same Any thoughts/comments would be gratefully received. Les Henson
In the end of the axle tube there should be a seal - part number 217400. If the oil is inside the brake drum, then it will also be the hub oil seal - part number RTC3510 Les.
