trickydicky Posted June 26, 2009 Share Posted June 26, 2009 6 months ago i fitted a new lift pump on my 2.5td (19j) and everythink worked fine but yesterday i changed the filter and when i went to bleed the feul it wouldnt pump so i moved the engine and still no good . i did this a few times but it wouldnt pump . has it gone again and what happens if i drive it whithout changing it is it just the bleeding that suffers or is there anything else? Have you removed and refitted it? the arm has to be on the cam or it wont pump, undo the unions and put your thumb over the inlet and pump the manual lever, if it sucks its fine!
