Drivers Lock

I have looked further in to this today and i am looking for ideas as to what to look at replacing as hoping to get this done at the weekend.

The car is a 3dr 99 freelander.

When you press the remote locking you hear the motor but the door pin does not move, you have to use the key to unlock. When you press the button inside the car again the door won't lock or unlock, it does however lock with the remote.

HAs anyone experienced this or got any ideas as to what the problem is.

Thanks in advance

Probably just sticky, try pressing and holding the remote for a few seconds. My passenger door is the same and holding the button seems to work.

think i am going to end up stripping it all down and just have to start replacing things little but by little but, think i will spray everything down with WD40 at the weekend and see if that does anything,

With regards to holding it down a bit that doesnt work as the lock just doesnt move although the motor is working, as it will lock which is frustrating
