Nick S Posted July 22, 2009 Share Posted July 22, 2009 Hi. I have a 2009 Defender XS. I am looking to mount my Garmin Nuvi in the center of the dash as Land Rover have with the SVX model. Nick S Posted July 25, 2009 Author Share Posted July 25, 2009 I spoke to the sales person at Land Rover and it seems the complete install kit, inc the Garmin sat unit is around £500. Not sure if they will / can ship the bracket separately. CWP Posted August 5, 2009 Share Posted August 5, 2009 Whilst awaiting a repair in a French Land Rover dealer I took these photo's of the Garmin mount. At the time I didn't know anything about the mount except that it looked well designed.Checking the forums on my return I can see there is other interest....perhaps I'm a bit late for Nick but maybe someone could make use of them.....or locate an outlet? I already have a Garmin Nuvi 1690 and wondered if this was suitable or I would need to buy another head unit?
