The benefit of having it on the ignition, though, is that it doesn't sit there trying to maintain pressure when you aren't using the vehicle - i.e. you forget to switch it off over night and hence flatten the battery... BogMonster Posted September 23, 2009 Share Posted September 23, 2009 One idea we have used is to put the power feed to all the locker circuits via a relay which is switched by the centre diff lock sensor. That way a) it isn't running when not needed b) you don't engage the ARBs until after you engage the CDL (why would you?), and c) you don't accidentally cruise off down the road with ARBs engaged because when you knock it out of CDL all the lockers and the compressor will shut down.
