nicks90 Posted December 3, 2009 Share Posted December 3, 2009 /\/\/\/\ wot he said, you would need to relocate the panhard rod (not the easiest thing to do as it cant go anywhere else and still maintain alignment with the steering bar) and the axle casing would need some SERIOUS beefing up. The X-link system is used in Oz on nissans and even they have reports of torn off link mounts - and thats with the HUGE spreader plate welded to a much beefier / thicker axle casing. One thing with the X-link as well, braking in a straight line would give the same handling as normal hockey sticks. But if you have to brake whilst cornering, the X-link would do its things and cause the axle to rotate on one end. Might make things interesting mid bend whilst braking..........
