Guest diesel_jim
I'm about to fit a southdown guard to my 110 Td5, which has got the antirollbar mounts welded to the axle case. Has anyone tried fitting these guards to an axle with the mounts on? is it a case of angle grinder/gas axe jobbie to cut them off? or can i cut the axle guard to fit around the mounts? ISTR that the SAS DPV 110's has the rollbars on the front with the southdown guard in place, although they were salisbury axles, so maybe slightly different positions? (not having a salisbury front axle anymore, i can't measure it!) Can the guard fit with the rollbar in place? perhaps th guard can be cut around the mounts? anyone got any bright ideas?
