Sedimenter

I've been cleaning the above,with it off the vehicle and my guide where each fuel line connects to has fallen out.

I know which line goes into No1, the one that goes to the engine.(I think).

Is it No4 that goes to the fuel tank or No3.

Is it ok to use an ordinary short bolt for the bottom bung.

OR should I bin it. :P As one of the connecting fittings is broken and I will need the whole line.

on my old disco 1 i binned it, IMHO its more trouble than its worth

Will you get to the New Years Day outing? Not sure if I will make it?

I think the old parts bin is where it will go.

Wouldn't it have been better located in the engine bay?

agree about the location of the sedimeter

yesterday carried out a full service on my disco TD5 and the fuel filter is at the rear beside the the wheel, if i was offroading (not that i will in this disco) it would be ripped off
