defender dinky Posted January 2, 2010 Share Posted January 2, 2010 hi all, the wife's p38 1998 DT as a problem with the remote key fob, hell of a game this morning we can get in the car now being to main dealer to get EKA code, but when trying to start keeps coming up engine disabled on the dash, when pressing the key fob we are'nt getting a red light on the fob like before put new batteries in still the same, ( i myself have a defender 90 1987 lovely truck )cheer's defender dinky Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
vougese39 Posted January 3, 2010 Share Posted January 3, 2010 at a guess you do not have a spare remote? proberly a failed remote or are the batterys in the wrong way round!? you will need a new remote if that is the case go direct to land rover and they will order them for you and just need to be coded in by testbook or another diag kit Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
