muddy4x4xfar Posted January 26, 2010 Share Posted January 26, 2010 hi got a challenge for everyone reading this. has any one ever tried puttin a interlock solenoid on a defender auto its a td5 with a discovery auto box. i know the american auto v8 discoverys had it. i just dont know how to go about fitting the unit to a defender. does any one know where i could get the complete unit from . or even a list of parts id need to do it. thanks for your help everyone. chris Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
dirkthe1 Posted January 26, 2010 Share Posted January 26, 2010 i thought all disco had them? thats the thing that means you have to have foot on brake to move from park? the auto box i had on a table today definately had one, as i spent the afternoon taking it out! comes out bout an inch forward of kickdown cable just re-read post are you asking how to wire it in??can you not get a hold of disco wiring diagram and splice in accordingly?
