Freelander master cylinder - how does it slot in???

If anyone can give some quick feedback on how to insert the master cylinder on a freelander 1 I'd be grateful -

the jobs been a doddle so far and it really doesn't look like inserting the master cylinder into the bulkhead should be difficult - slot it in, then rotate to lock. I just can't get the darned thing to lock in though, and each time I try it's damaging the plastic on the master cylinder. I don't seem to be able to push it in quite far enough for the slots to locate - anyone got any tips on how to do this????

ok - sussed it out.

The servo gets in the way and doesn't allow you to turn the master cylinder enough for it to slot in squarely.

removing just the four nuts for the brake servo in the footwell allows you to pull the servo far forward enough to clear the brake master, and it can then be rotated fully and slots in neatly.

simples.
