Oil in Exhaust

Mean Green

Recommended Posts

At work we have a 200tdi 90. In Fairness it is in a "used" condition (!!) but it has alway been good mechanically and is only really let down by bodywork.

However, Yesterday I noticed a significant Oil build up in the exhaust. What would cause this?

Cheers

So is this a knackered Turbo or is it easily fixable?

The reason I ask is there is a plan to replace the 90 in a few weeks and I was half thinking about buying it. Dont mind a body work tidy up but dont fancy having to replace big bits of engine.

Should I consider buying it?
