Gearbox & warranty question

Evening

Can anyone tell me if the replacement of the DMF is covered under a Land Rover 12month, approved used warranty?

Just got off the phone from the dealer who has said that the occasional judder I reported may be down to the DMF, but as it's not covered by the warranty(?) I should persevere with it as it's an expensive fix. Does anyone know if this is true?

I've just phoned the Land Rover warranty number, but it shut at 5.30.

Also the gearbox, once nice and warm, after a good motorway run for instance, becomes very stiff and notchy. If you tap the gear stick out of gear when coasting to a halt, rather than it 'spring' back to the neutral position. it just stays where it is. Gear selection becomes very difficult.

I have just 3 months left on the warranty, so I'm wondering if they're stalling for time and trying to fob me off, it certainly feels like it to me.

Anybody here work at a main dealers?

It's an '04 D2 by the way.

Thanks.
