Defender brakes

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone, i am Gotty and wanted to say hi

A liitle bit of help would also be nice, just in case anyone is in the know.

I have been given 2 front calipers, but i cant find a cross reference for the numbers on the box. the calipers are 4 pot front i think. made by ap lockheed and the part number on the box is LC5346 & LC 5347. they look similar to mine but not 100 % sure. Anyone know what Landrover part they might correspond to. i have not been able to find anything online to date.

Don't want to put the wrong brakes on if you know what i mean.

Thanks in advance

Hi, welcome to the forum. A very useful place it is too.

Can't help with your part number enquiry though, they sound like AP Lockheed's numbers. I am sure I have an AP catalogue at work somewhere, if I find it I will see if it cross references or says anything on vehicle details

Hi Gotty,

LC5346 is same as AEU 2537 Which is for 110 or 130 up to 1986 (Right hand)

LC5347 is same as AEU 2538 Which is for 110 or 130 up to 1986 (Left hand)

Regards,

Diff
