bigdru Posted May 13, 2010 Share Posted May 13, 2010 Hi my 95 disco failed it mot today on offside front axle king pin has excessive play in pin / or bush adversely affecting the steering. is this easy to fix and also need a small plate welded to the chassis. any help would be great as have no transport Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Les Henson Posted May 13, 2010 Share Posted May 13, 2010 'King Pins' are the swivel bearings. If the play is slight, then just shim adjustment to tighten it up.
