gaz0203
we re undertaking a chassis swap on my mates 200 90, theres lways been lots of slop in the steering box so we were going to fit a recon one. it seems shame to do this i there is an adjustment that can be made. whilst sitting on the spot with the engine off theres a good half a turn of free play at the wheel. how do i go about reducing this?? western
slacken the big nut on top of the box & screw in the allen socket screw in the centre while holding the big nut still, once you've adjusted out the excess play, hold the centre screw still & tighten the big nut.
