bangbang Posted July 8, 2010 Share Posted July 8, 2010 please exquse my ignorance but i am the new boy can someone please explain to me what a hand throttle is used for as there is one in the sesies 3 i have just got and i don't now what it's for or if i realy need it? what are the benifits of it? Les Henson Posted July 8, 2010 Share Posted July 8, 2010 If you are using the power take-off for anything, such as a winch, circular saw, etc, then the transfer box is put in neutral so the vehicle stays stationary, then the hand throttle is used to increase engine revs to whatever is being powered by it.
