greenstream
Hi I have a couple of 3.5 V8 engines and a complete EFI-unit from a 4.2 V8 is it vise and doable to match these parts and then controlling it via Megasquirt ? I know that there are easyer ways, but this is what I have on the shelf. Cheers Morten

Hybrid_From_Hell
Yes You need spark curve for 3.5 which takes more than any of the other V8s as a maximum etc, and fuelling will sort itself out via tuning of the system, again I would suggest you use a 3.5 VE Table as starters The 4.2 injectors are the same as 3.9 and 4.6 and better IMHO than the flapper flavour You use the 4.2 EFI CTS and you don't need the AFM etc add a MAT (air temp) and the other squity parts and bobs your brothers uncles cats aunt as they say HTH Nige

Hybrid_From_Hell
CTS = Coolant Temp sensor - use Std one On the front of the inlet manifold, right hand side facing engine from front Nige As a PS - What the comp of the 3.5 as there was a range from 8:13 flat as a dead dog right up to 10:5 :1 High Comp 9:35:1 is fine, anything below is not too fabbydoos ? Comps either on Block face where head joins in passenger side middle two exhaust manifolds and up a bit under engine number OR on back of block top, on falt surafce where bellhousing joins to ??
