Muttland
Hi I bought a used defender 2000 cooler and Intercooler to adapt in my SIII. The water cooler is OK When I dismantled the Intercooler, it was made in copper. (????) I never saw a Defender copper intercooler. Your opinion will be apreciated. Lara
Sounds like someone got a Radiator specialist to make a new one and they made it in copper. nothing wrong with that other than they are generally less efficient than ally cores. Love the pencil drawing of your series!! Done by you? Lara
Muttland
Thanks Lara for your comment. I have the same opinion. The alumminion Intercooler probably was broken, and made copper one because weld alumminiun is hard to do. Yes I made the 109 serie drawing, It is a "birome" drawing. If you like I send you a scanner one of it in more definition.
