TheBeastie
I am trying to work through all the maintenance bits I have never, for one reason or another, got round to. One item says to lubricate the rear suspension upper link. I presume this is the ball joint at the top of the A frame - but might be wrong. I have looked around and can see no grease nipple so guess I might well be looking in the wrong place (which is probably why it has never been ticked on my list :-) Can anyone point me in the right direction please? There are one or two other bits but will post separately since it may be less confusing. Thanks Malcy
adam300Tdi90
Some of the A-frame ball joints have grease nipples on them. But not the original equipment ones, so it's curious as to why it says to grease the 'rear suspension upper link' in the original service list. You don't need to grease the bushes, so it can't mean any of the other parts of the rear suspension?! Where does this service list come from?? western
there's no lubrication points at the A frame to chassis brackets & none on the Boge self levelling strut either.
TheBeastie
OK Thanks. It must have come from a duff list ages ago - forgotten where. Will remove it from my list of (long) outstanding tasks to do
