Andrew N
My LR90 300TDI has just come back from MOT work on brakes and exhaust, and now the transfer box selector feels like it isn't connected to anything. What might cause that, and is it likely it's something that has been done/not done during work on the brakes and/or exhaust?
Disco-Ron
This happened to mine, the link that conencts the rod to the transfer box had broken, i wonder if they put the transfer box in neutral to do the brake test on the rollers..... and then it broke...... mine snapped when i was just coming off a lane, in the dark..... i had to remove the centre seat and fumble around in the dark to select high range again to get home.... i learnt a lesson that day, never go out without a light source.... ie, inspection lamp or torch..!! Andrew N
Maverik, thanks for that - I've been searching unsuccessfully for exactly that picture.
