SPendrey
Does anyone have the Britpart spare wheel mounted bike rack, part number DA4118? I'm considering removing the tow bar to stop ploughing when on some lanes and most P&P sites, but this will mean I lose the mounting point for my bike carrier (the tow ball). I like the idea anyway of the wheel mounting carriers so they move when opening the door, but I can't figure out why what appears to be a bent bit of steel tube is nearly £90 (the Britpart rack). I like the look of it, but not the price. Anyone recommend it? Perhaps a different one??

It's about £85. halfords 4x4 bike carrier Works fine, but offers no security.... so I'd also consider a mahoosive paddock/chain!
auf_wiedersehen_pet
I got mine off ebay - £50. Had to fabricate a new mounting bracket as my tyres are wider (265) than standard. Here's mine..... http://s244.photobucket.com/albums/gg26/auf_wiedersehen_pet/Rear%20Wheel%20Holder/ Ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LAND-ROVER-DISCOVERY-2-CYCLE-CARRIER-BIKE-RACK-99-04-/280496443705?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM
