NicTheOrange90 Posted June 11, 2006 Share Posted June 11, 2006 I dont really need them, unless its for a supply of fresh water in the car, so am considering filling them in with a plate cut to the same size as the whole, and a cover plate (we used to call them but straps - but youu probably snigger at this description) so the surface of the roof stays the same. Andy Posted June 12, 2006 Share Posted June 12, 2006 mine are ali plate. i didnt make them though. a mate wanted to do it & as i'd smashed an alpine light i got the prototypes. as far as i know he just shaped them by hand using his leg as a mould. pain in the ar5e to fit though, did look quite good till i scratched the hell out of them.
