MrKev
<some words shamlessly stolen from the club's website > Thames Valley 4x4's next event is at Broxhead Common and is in aid of Help For Heroes. This will be a fun drive around event suitable for all drivers, all vehicles and all family members to freely explore this MOD site. As well as being a Drive Around event we will be raising money for Help for Heroes, the club's chosen charity this year, with Remembrance Day coming up make this a special one, raising money whilst enjoying off-roading. This site is suitable for everyone with open areas for the more shiny vehicles through to mud-runs for the more prepared. The club will be there with Burger Van facilities, toilets, wheel wash and club caravan. All are welcome, this is being operated under Promotional rules so membership is not required, however you are welcome to join the club at the site. Gates open from 09.00am and all vehicles will have to undergo a simple scrutineering check. Please bring containers of water if possible to keep the wheel wash fed. I was there yesterday, and the site is in a really good state for pleasing all levels - the bomb hole at the top of the site is really sticky, the mud run is probably at it's stickiest, and the woods are easily drivable, but there are plenty of deep puddles to keep the more adventurous entertained.
