forestdave7
Hi, 2000/2001 Freelander TD4S Auto. Friday my Freelander started as usual first time when I took my Wife shopping. When we returned to the car it failed to start first time but did start second time and I drove it back home with no resultant problems. Today, Sunday, I went to start it but it just would not start and when it did eventually start it only ran for a few seconds before cutting out. During those few seconds the "Engine Malfunction Indicator" light came on. Now it will not start at all. Stupidly, I did let the Fuel level in the tank get too low so could this be the problem? Do you think it could be a blocked Fuel filter? Any help and advice would be appreciated Dave
Mr Bean
Its possible that the filter is blocked.... But get it on a diagnostic to read off the error code.
