ScottinAZ
I have a NAS 2003 Disco II (V8, 4.6). Recently, there is a whine that has started, definitely being caused by rotating machinery as it changes frequency with RPMs. It sounds like it is coming from the A/C clutch. I removed the serpentine belt and there is a bit play in the clutch pulley. Has anybody else seen this? Thanks
BogMonster
It's probably one or other of the bearings, could be an idler/tensioner, your a/c pulley or the alternator bearing.

From my searching, looks like, at least in the US, the a/c pulley (clutch) is not sold separately.
