dellboykev Posted November 22, 2010 Share Posted November 22, 2010 hi what do you think would be the best way to waterproof the ecu on a defender without moving it i was thinking about using a sealable plastic tub but does the ecu need to breath or would this be ok? anyone got any ideas or done anything else to protect the ecu from water? Anderzander Posted November 23, 2010 Share Posted November 23, 2010 I moved mine onto the bulkhead behind the middle seat with the existing loom - I just had to lengthen a couple of wires. Simon119 Posted November 23, 2010 Share Posted November 23, 2010 Sorry to hijack this thread, but can you remember what size hole you had to cut for the ECU multi plug rubber seal. Have been thinking about doing this for a while now but keep forgetting to measure the hole. Also did you relocate the fuse box from under the drivers seat?
