HighlandRover
I recently stripped down my Warn 8274 winch as I felt the break was slipping slightly and wanted to check the overall condition of the winch. I found that there was not much friction material left on the disks so ordered myself a Gigglepin uprated break kit. My question is, is the friction material stuck onto the inner and outer break discs using some sort of glue/resin? Thanks Jason

Soren Frimodt
No there's no need for any glue. they create friction enough to keep everything locked up.
HighlandRover
Cheers Guys, I didnt think any glue was used but they put up a bit of a fight when I tried to remove them. Guess that the 10 or so years of dust and mud welded them on!
