Landyinmyddfai
Hi - My first post! I have just purchased a T reg TD5 defender. The fuel filter light was on. I have changed all the filters and its still on. I believe there is a sediment secondary filter. Does anyone know where it is? Could this be the reson for a loss of power at higher revs? The wiring loom was contaminated with diesel. I have taken off the rocker cover and replaced the first section. I understand that the ecu plugs will need to be cleaned a number of times before diesel contamination disappears. Agian could this be affecting the performance at higher revs. It wont go over 55mph without stuttering Cheers
western
right rear wheel arch, hiding behind a protective stone/dirt cover, the 'water in fuel' switch is on the bottom, a common problem is road muck corrodes the connections & they break off.
