TD5 Fuel Filter and wiring loom

Recommended Posts

Hi - My first post! I have just purchased a T reg TD5 defender. The fuel filter light was on. I have changed all the filters and its still on. I believe there is a sediment secondary filter. Does anyone know where it is? Could this be the reson for a loss of power at higher revs? The wiring loom was contaminated with diesel. I have taken off the rocker cover and replaced the first section. I understand that the ecu plugs will need to be cleaned a number of times before diesel contamination disappears. Agian could this be affecting the performance at higher revs. It wont go over 55mph without stuttering

Cheers
