I've tried the WLD500200 cap which supposedly superceeds that, and it comes up too small, it doesn't lock properly and fumes escape. It's a defender 110 TD5, SALLDHA87XA176*** So, what cap dya think I need, that comes up a bit bigger? Maybe land rover found a few old fuel filler necks and blew the dust off to fit one to my 99! western Posted January 21, 2011 Share Posted January 21, 2011 if you cap screws on the has a key to lock it it should be the WLD500200 - click for picture if it only turns 1/2 way & has 2 prongs on the underside & a 3rd which retracts when the key is turbed you need RTC4740 Now STC4072 - click for picture AFAIK they are the only fuel caps that could be a possible fit.
